What is a Chalk Transfer?
Chalk Couture® Transfers are stencils made of mesh silk-screen, designed for use on a variety of surfaces. One of the biggest advantages of Chalk Couture stencils is that they are reusable! With proper care and cleaning, Transfers can be used up to 8-12 times making them cost-effective and eco-friendly.

What is Chalkology Paste?
Chalkology Paste is a special, high-quality chalk paste that is designed to be applied with Chalk Couture Transfers to create vibrant, crisp, and professional-looking designs on hard surfaces. It’s washable, forgiving when wet, and offers a hard, matte finish.
What is Chalkology Ink?
Chalkology Ink is similar to Paste, but it is specifically designed for use on fabric or glass and other surfaces where a more permanent design is needed. Ink is considered permanent when set with heat using an iron or oven.
4. GATHER YOUR TOOLS
Chalk Couture offers a variety of tools designed to make the crafting process easier and more precise when working with our products, like Chalkology Paste and Chalkology Ink.
- Squeegees are a creator’s best friend. Choose a size and style that suits your project needs to apply paste or ink.
- The Fuzzing Cloth is used to “fuzz” or reduce the stickiness of Transfers before applying them to a project’s surface. This eases the process of removing the Transfer from the surface without damaging your design.
- The Board Eraser is a special tool designed to remove Chalkology Paste from non-porous surfaces like chalkboards and glass.
